Privacy Policy
Effective June 2, 2026
Teamstead, operated by Diamond Ops, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), makes a mobile app that helps youth and travel sports teams coordinate schedules, payments, chat, travel, and roster information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the Teamstead mobile app and to getteamstead.com.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only what those services provide — name and email.
Team information. When you create or join a team, we collect the team name, sport, season, your role (coach, manager, parent, player), and the information you choose to add to your profile or your children's profiles (jersey size, position, emergency contact, medical notes).
Content you create. Chat messages, photos you share, RSVPs, payment requests, expenses, receipts, fundraising contributions, carpool sign-ups, and other content you create in the app.
Device information. A push notification token so we can send you alerts. Anonymous diagnostics and crash reports to help us fix bugs.
Subscription information. If you purchase a Team Pro or Organization subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive a confirmation that the subscription is active. We do not see your payment card or Apple ID.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payment links (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle) open those apps directly — we never see the transaction.
- We do not read your device contact list, calendar, or photo library outside of photos you explicitly select to share.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not collect health or biometric data. Face ID and Touch ID are processed entirely on your device by iOS.
- We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
How we use what we collect
- To provide the app's features (showing your team's schedule, delivering chat, processing RSVPs, etc.).
- To send push notifications you've consented to (chat messages, payment requests, event changes, the daily morning digest if you've enabled it).
- To send transactional email (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
- To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
- To process subscription purchases through Apple's standard in-app purchase system.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Apple Push Notification Service — push notification delivery
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Sentry — anonymous crash reporting
- Anthropic — AI processing for the pre-trip checklist feature; requests contain weather data and your sport, never personal identifiers
- HotelPlanner — if you tap a hotel block link, you are redirected to HotelPlanner's website. We do not share your data with them; they have their own privacy policy.
We may disclose data if required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect against fraud or abuse. We will notify you unless legally prohibited.
Visibility within your team
Information you add to your team is visible to other members of that team. Specifically:
- Your name, role, and child's name (if applicable) are visible to all team members.
- Your contact information is visible to other families only if you opt into the Family Directory. This is off by default and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
- Payment requests sent to you are visible to your team manager, who tracks who has paid.
- Chat messages and photos are visible to all members of the team channel you posted in.
- Documents your manager uploads (waivers, code of conduct) are visible to families on the team. Your acknowledgement is visible to the manager.
Children's privacy
Teamstead is designed for parents and coaches of youth athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents create children's profiles inside their own account; the child does not have their own login or device-level identity in our system. Information about a child is treated as personal information of the parent who created the profile.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@getteamstead.com and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
Access and export. Email privacy@getteamstead.com to request a copy of your data. We will respond within 30 days.
Correction. You can edit your profile and your children's profiles directly in the app at any time.
Deletion. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. Account deletion is irreversible and removes your profile, your children's profiles, your messages, your photos, and your payment history. Team data you created (events, payment requests, etc.) may remain visible to other team members in anonymized form if removing it would corrupt the team's records.
Push notifications. You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings or opt out of specific notification types in the Teamstead Settings screen.
Family Directory. Off by default. Toggle in Settings.
Data retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data (e.g., total number of teams using the app) may be retained for analytics.
Crash reports and diagnostic logs are retained for 90 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard practices. Face ID and Touch ID unlock is processed entirely on your device by iOS — we never see biometric data.
No system is perfect. If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
International users
Teamstead is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. By using the app you consent to that transfer.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
